Math Measurement

This week in math we have been learning about measurement. We measured different objects in class and used the vocabulary words shorter, longer, or the same. 

Science Movement

This week in science we have been learning about different movements. Here we are learning about zig zag, round and round, back and forth, and up and down movements!

Farm Animals

On Tuesday we were able to have a visit from some farm animals. We were able to pet chickens, goats, bunnies, a pony, and a pig! We loved it!!

The 100th Day of Kindergarten!

Today we celebrated the 100th Day of KINDERGARTEN!!! 
We had fun all day long finding different things to do with the number 100. Here we are in the 100th day hats we made where we counted by 10's to get to 100. 

The Tooth Fairy Visits Kindergarten!

Last Friday we had a special visit from the Tooth Fairy. We learned about ways to keep our teeth clean and healthy such as, visiting the dentist, brushing our teeth twice a day, eating fruits and vegetables, and drinking lots of water.

Clouds, Kazoos and Cowboys

In Science, we have been observing objects in the sky. We went outside one day to observe the clouds and read a story. Our class has learned about different types of clouds: thin feathery clouds, big fluffy clouds, and layered clouds. In Reader's Workshop we have been working on following pictorial directions and in doing so we each made a kazoo using a toilet paper roll! Finally, last Friday our kindergarten pod showed their support for our Dallas Cowboys as they went against the Green Bay Packers. Go Cowboys!
